Surrender Option In Comm Panel

Yeah, I'm like a super villian, complete with evil monologues and everything.


We give crap to Stardust because he won't take out someone's starbase.  You have to surrender instead.  It's like he's saying, "I want to burn you down and make sure you acknowledge that you never had a chance."

Although Myles, are you sure you're not channeling Serpicus instead?

he is like dukat, make your enemy realise they were wrong to challenge you. and maybe then you kill them

An official surrender (that ends the game declaring the last one alive and not surrendered) would solve the problem of someone gg'ing... and then not quiting.

Here's an example of a recent match that this happened in

SCII has the official surrender button and the benefit over the informal 'gg' surrender is small, but nice.

Hmm yeah i think i might be with yandon on that. there are some games where the gg happens...... five times..... and its still going.........

wow, checked his post thingy, and i did see some rather long posts. didnt actually read any of them tl;dr

ive made some long posts though too.

after someone says gg the only reason they would stay is for explosions. i dont say gg til im sure ive lost. then i stay just to enjoy stuff exploding.

If someone gg's and doesn't quit, you keep playing and beat them .  If they hide a cloaked scout, you Laff in their face, say 'you looze, loozer' and quit.  If they want to claim that you gave up somehow you roll your eyes and say 'boo hoo' .  Then you eat their children.
