Suicide Ships/Draw Fire

The only 'superweapon' that was actually worth a damn in the original game was the Federation and Borg ones. The Klingon, Romulan and Cardassian ones were almost entirely useless.

"Suggestive paint job" - now I'm just imagining a Galaxy with a page-3 girl painted on the side....

I think a mod is in order. Any takers?

The other ship I miss is the Romulan Shadow and its holo-projector. To have something like this (or even the the Romulan drones from Enterprise or Federation Incursion) would be good. Ships pretending to be enemy ships or getting enemy ships to fire on themselves!

Me too. I'd love to see it implemented exactly the way it was, but limited by number to lets say 3 and the holo-emitter renamed to sensor illusion (as you may fool humans eyes with hologras but not 24th century sensor systems - well, not even 20th century radar)

the klingon and rom ships did kick ass btw, just need to be used right. Just the Cardassian one did suck a bit

All 3 could cause good levels of damage, but they were so fragile that it could be very difficult to reach the target (not to mention the easy assimilation). The Romulan one had a cloak, but that could only help so much against a human player.

If someone wants to porn-up their version of the game, it's their choice. Not that anyone was seriously suggesting it.
