I was thinking if we thought up a few new races for Fleet Operations do you guyes think you might be able to put the in fleet operations 4 or 5 (if their is a 5th).
If so then I propose theis thengs. for a Romulan avatar you could put a Remon and make some remon ships and then remove some rom ships from the remon avatar's tech tree. second I prpose full Rromelan and Mether races.(and possably a campign for them (the war)). :D

Yeah but it was mentioned once, maybe in one of the tech books from TNG, that Klinks were met in 2191, and resulted in the destruction of almost all of the Fed's expedition fleet.

But I believe it would have been ridiculous to make a retro-series that would refrain from using state of the art effects (visual, special and make-up) just to duplicate the look of a 60s sci-fi series.

You could say the same for Star Trek - The Motion Picture, when they decided to introduce the new Klingon make-up.

I think using one of the theories that has Klingons always look like they do since The Motion Picture with only a short phase of changed appearance would be ok.

Or simply take it as it is: TOS was a TV series in the 60s and they neither had the ability nor the money to make all the Klingons look like they should (this is the version Gene Roddenberry followed when he said that Klingons always had the ridged foreheads).

Anyway, Trials and Tribbleations was more of a "fun"-episode. And I should know it, I was there. *points at his avatar* :D

PS: And if you read carefully, the theory that they had only a short phase of human-like appearance makes sense, if you take in account:

The Kahless clone, ancient statues, Klingons that left Qo'noS long before TOS and so on.
