Starbases

- photon torpedo enhancement(does hit often, but not so strong)
- quantium torpedo enhancement(does not always hit, but deals heavy damage)
- phaser enhancement
- secondary phaser enhancement

for the romulans it could be something like that:
- adds 3 additional pulse distruptors
and so on. Maybe also for other stations(just think of the mining stations).

and to the problem with multitargetting: just look at SWFC.

dude, weapon systems on stations always hit anyway... they cant miss.

Plus there is no problem with multi-targetting. The only problem per se, is that there is no word on whether it is planned to be implemented.

I relish the idea of starbases being able to attack multiple targets - killer idea, actually. And more than one type of weapon would be very useful as well! B) I edited one of the ODF files (can't recall which one, exactly), but made it so the station was firing every quarter of a second! That was really really cool, but still took a long while to destroy even ONE ship. A starbases weapon should pack a more powerful punch. Three shots to destroy a fargin scout ship? Pitiful!!!

I say stop gripin if you gotta rely on your star base to fend off ships you aind got a very good stratagy you need ships like shrikes not just a starbase or build turret walls ot incorperate turrets into the base. i awalys have a gun ship on hand for defence

you'r suck a stud man! but let's get serious for a moment, i also agree that the starbases should be stronger, atleast strong enough to deal with rush attacks.

yeah...more sorts of weapons would be nice. A refit ability on each starbase would be nice. Each refit would cause an increased value of all stats PLUS a new weapon. That would also bring more special effects and depths into gameplay and cause the base is not overrunned so easy ( remember there is still the problem of a mass=win situation). Anyways...a higher variety of weapons would be nice generally. I hate that odd green torps from Romulans, they all have it. There could be such a huge variety of really nice looking weapons. I hope its in final V3.
