Some Ideas To Make The Mod Better

Hi! I'm a newbie at the forums so be patient... I made a new topic because I have some ideas, and I was lazy to search for the right topic to write these. I didn't tested the FO much, but I had to write these:
Interface/Options
-The mapping of the shortcuts in-game
-Mp3 playing from a specified folder
Visuals/Sounds
-Maybe adding some stardust to the environment
-More cruising shuttles to the bases
-Blur, more anisotrophic filters, etc.
-A bit louder responds to the Dominion side
Gameplay
-Adding derelict ships and bases to the environment: There would be main faction/smaller faction ships and stations at some maps, like Ferengi, and other ships
-Adding a Collection base --> It shows the discovered shipwrecks and derelict ships, and you can buy them from marauders/ferengis... The ships from the collection base are not full healthed, and a bit weaker than the others, but they can be upgraded with faction specific weapons/gadgets. They would be also cheaper
-Make a Prometheus class, which can detach 2 components
-Make the borg ships bigger, stronger, and much more expensive
I think that's all... I hope they will help you

Uhmm? How do you play the borgs? As far as i know they arent implemented yet.

I didn't played the borg in FO, I played in the Original... @ The Borg, I suggest things compared to the original game

Well in the original borgs were already overpowered with the fusion cube, but anyways i dont think it has anything to do with FO. FO is pretty much diffrent from Original Armada 2 and the Borg will surely be pretty different form like they were in the Original. But dont worry, im sure they will be cool as the whole FO is! 
I didnt play Beta 2 but depending on the info i've found here i think Borgs of FO will be more like they are in the Original Star Trek Role/Universe. Strong weapons, no or weak shields, massive hulls and amazing regeneration

correct the borg will have no shields and will be simply massive, unstopable, but also very very expencive.

i think there should be a new ship yard for the fedoration that has the old ships from the late 23frd century and the ability to customize your very own ship in a ship editor program

I dont think the game engine and program code makes it possible to implement modular unit construction within an acceptable amount of time and anyways Star Trek Universe got its own unique/historical ship classes, to create some new classes for fun is okay but to change and mix the parts of original ships... That would annoy many Star Trek fans

but i would rather have a shipyard that makes 23frd century ships like excelsior mirander constitution refit and so on

ahh i so in love with excelcior class and this steel and trade tech sounds really cool

On a side note, what about implementing some more Refits, for example the Excelsior?
As an example, you start with only the NX-2000 Excelsior at the beginning. At some point, you can research a refit to this class, and all your built Excelsiors get the "Refit to Enterprise-B Variant" Option. The shipyards then can only build the Refit(1) variant of the Excelsior(A lot of them were built to the refit Specs, so I don't think it would be necessary to do it the romulan way ^^)
Later, you can research the Lakota Refit(2) for all your Excelsior Refits(1).
The same would go with the Miranda & Constitution Classes (well except the second refit ^^ )
Another option would be a VERY expensive refit to the Klingon BOP to let them fire torpedoes while cloaked...
A lot of ships were refitted to perform better during the ~300 years of ST timeline...I think FO should let us do the same

Or refit the Sov to the 2379 standard version
.I like this idea,and it's already in use in FO.But,isn't the K'vort already fitted with one of those torpedos?
On a side note,custom ships would be so cool!Imagine,a Sovereign with two extra nacelles done like the Prometheus and an Akira's torp role-bar and just a small secondary shielding grid

But,isn't the K'vort already fitted with one of those torpedos?
Yes it is...it's only "one" though, with a long reycle time...I was thinking about a "proper" torpedolauncher(no special weapon), maybe with a little more recycle time than when firing decloaked...a wing of these would just rip through the opposition during a large engagement with little probability to be discovered in the heat of battle ^^
And that's only one ship from many more that could be refitted(Nebula anyone? Whole bunch of variants...one with sensor pod *hint*
