borg have short range hop drives.
scubes probes and detectors.
the smaller you are the further u go.
detectors can jump a couple screens, but do puny damage so not worth it
probes are probably best in groups of 3-5 if u can afford them late game. get in. kill a miner or two, hop out and leg it.
