Plus they should be relentless even if their main base is lost. The Dominion are Spammers, they would constantly be building ships and spam their enemies. The Romulans are a bit more complicated. They would only attack nearby enemies, kinda like a "Back-off" thing. Plus they'd try to have a secure parimeter and if it is broken then they would make sure that nobody makes it to the main base under any circumstances. The Borg are more towards assimilation (3.05a pulled that off while it lasted). They'd try to assimilate enemy races. So their fleet configuration would be 1 or 2 big ships, and 3 or 4 small ones. Except after 4 hours or so. Then they would go to spamming.
Hey Optec, Doca, could that work?
That is gold right there. Feast your eyes on this guy's suggestions.

Yeah, they're good more or less...
I reckon that everyone should be using little balanced wings of 6-7 ships, and when you want a huge fleet (say for finally assaulting the enemies main base) then send in multiple wings.
But that's what I'm going for in my personal mod, when I get around to it...

Odd; whenever i play a new hard romulan ai the *first* thing they *always* build from one of their secondary yards is 1 or more tavaras!

Hey Devs, can we expect a better AI by 3.08? To me I think I pretty much nailed how the AI should work by. But my question is when will this ever happen. Because if I'm going to play against an AI I should expect it to act like their TV show counter parts. Which I know is hard to pull off but it is possible. Again, When? Because you've always said "We want to bring Fleet Ops to a level where gaming experience is far greater that that of which has ever been achieved before in Armada 2", so why not make the AI more towards what it is supposed to be? After all, almost anyone would agree that a better AI makes a better Game.

... because multiplayer takes precedence

I definitely agree.

Multiplayer is important, but not everyone has access to it all the time. Those people will need a good AI that isn't a bitch.

Well, the AI gets screwed with every time new features are added, so it takes a long time to get it right and to fix it again. I obviously understand that a good AI is nice, but like I said, MP will probably always come first (as that is how the game is balanced obviously). Thus, please be patient
Of course it is possible Adm. Zaxxon, what gave you the idea that we can't agree with eachother?
