It is pretty much self explanitory. Vote your opinion. If you want to change it you can. But only if it is more logical.  :shifty:

What do you mean exodus? It's a perfectly valid question. Most people would agree that the AI doesn't seem as strong as it was before. I chose the option to try and improve AI difficulty.

the romulan ai seems dumbed down a bit now compared to the others.
just play a few games with all races ffa, and see who lasts longer.

I've definately noticed that the Romulan AI is very weak compared to before, I feel sorry for them whenever I have them in a battle as they always lose, both to me or other AI...
The Borg however... they just keep pumping out those cubes faster than I can take them down, no matter the difficulty, Played a game last nite 8 players (7 AI) FFA, one was borg the rest were mixed, the Borg took out every player bar 1, which I managed to take out before I was taken out  :crybaby:

So, it's difficult to really specify whether to make AI more difficult, or tone them down... it is a little more race specific than that :P

Yes, definitely race specific.  One thing about the Borg though, they always spam.  I think there should be vessel limits for all the Borg.

That would be more cannon.  As far as I know we can assume this is in the Alpha quadrant, so there wouldn't be very many ships. IMO

Especially the Hard AI seems a bit dumb... all it does is massproduce and attack with everything they got... the never use Scouts, Repairships etc. like the Middle AI... and the Jump between Middle and Hard seems a bit odd... Middle AI is beaten fairly easy but it jumps up to total annihilation of the Player when playing against Hard AI...

In my opinion the easy and normal AI should also build stuff like cubes. To fight against a cube i have to play vs a hard AI but then the stress not to loose is too high. If its possible easy AI should build a cube (or Dominion Dreadnought or Tavara and so on) from time to time.

Not only do they spam cubes, (scout or not), but on hard, they don't even build them, and when they are built on merciless, It cant seem to fine your base.  They just kind of wander around, mean while you take out their base, quiet easily.

Besides, not only do I want the AI to be stronger but to act like their races. The Federation is mostly Defense, so they should be building many Outposts, turrets, and sensor arrays. And 60% of their ships would be holding back defending their stations and bases. Klingons are Offensive, they'd focus on ship building, they would devote 80% of their ships to attacking enemies. Plus they should be relentless even if their main base is lost. The Dominion are Spammers, they would constantly be building ships and spam their enemies. The Romulans are a bit more complicated. They would only attack nearby enemies, kinda like a "Back-off" thing. Plus they'd try to have a secure parimeter and if it is broken then they would make sure that nobody makes it to the main base under any circumstances. The Borg are more towards assimilation (3.05a pulled that off while it lasted). They'd try to assimilate enemy races. So their fleet configuration would be 1 or 2 big ships, and 3 or 4 small ones. Except after 4 hours or so. Then they would go to spamming. :borg:

Hey Optec, Doca, could that work?
