USS Hyperon, that's from Stock A2 right?

If Hyperon is a misspelling of Hyperion, then it is from stock. Hyperion was one of the generic Sovereign Class.

I'd say that would do nicely..

"Hyperion" is also the name of the flagship of Admiral Yang Wen-li in "Legend of Galactic Heroes", excellent space opera anime, with a complex plot.

It's like "Monitor", a common name for a ship, be it a sea ship or a star ship. Which prompts me to wonder once more why the "Merrimac" is not as common as the "Monitor". May be because "Monitor" defeated "Merrimac"?

You yankee types should know. One is a Northern ship and the other a confederated one.

By the way, "Monitor" IS in A2. I've seen the ship name more than once.
