Romulan Avatars

Has anyone idea what starships could be the Romulan avatars?
I would realy like to see Griffin class starship from A2 as avatar for The Romulan Star Empire.

Well teh Romulan Avatars are currently under development. Most of them will be new designs, but the Shrike Class from A2 is likely to become a Avatar vessesl.

Thanx for your opininons. Well, the Shrike Class is very good candidate for avatar.
If you choose Shrike as your avatar, what benefits or features you'll get from it? In A2, in my opinion, Shrike was light destroyer class starship with very good scout capabilities and Romulan Spy was very usefull too. So... I suggest that if you choose Shrike you could get new features and benefits from The Tal Shiar and their web of agents. It's just an brief idea.

Sounds like a good idea to have the Strike and the Griffen class as avatars for the Romulans

Well, if the Griffin isn't the avatar, it could become the Romulan support ship with the number of hull and shield points of about avarage Fleet Ops. light cruiser. It's primary fuction in the fleet could be sensor jamming of enemy force. At first stage it could effect only small area around the ship for few seconds, just like in A2. The second stage jamming is for disabling the enemy defence platforms around the ship for few seconds. The final stage, i leave it to the others imagination...

By the way, you don't chose a vessel as an avatar, you choose a person (for example Sela, Admiral Mayson, Martok...) and this person will grant you 2 new ships and 3 special bonuses.

Cool! Even if the Griffin doesn't make it in, I think that it's Sensor Jammer should someplace.

So what persons would be good candidates for the Romulan avatars?
In the first place that should be Admiral Sela. Her avatar vessel could be some new type of warbird class. If you choose Sela, you could get some combat and tactic benefits, with new class starships effective in combat.
Anather type of avatar should be different. Maybe someone who is high ranking officer within the Tal'Shiar agency. His/her vessel can be Shrike. Benefits regarding this person should obviusly be from the Tal'Shiar itself. Also you'll get a new type of ship to build with proper features (maybe even Griffin with sensor jamming capabilities). What do you think people? Let's give Optec some good suggestions!!!

Yep, Admiral Sela will be a romulan avatar, but in beta4. i nee dosme new features planed for beta4 to do her avatar vessels and abilities
In Beta3 there will be General Mijural. She was the one who intiated the Tavara project and therefore you can expect some massive firepower from her.
General Helev is the head of many Romulan intelligent operations and will bring along a mobile cloaking generator and other stealth and intelligence abilities.

Hmm..., General Helev seems to be an interesting avatar. Mobile cloaking generator, can't wait to put my hands on it. It's not all in firepower anyway.
It could give some new strategies for the Romulans.
And General Mijural, I presume she will be one of story characters in the single player missions for Fleet Ops that would hopefully come in other future releases.

Firepower isn't everything, but it does help. I was never one for stealth
