You know the rheinn before refit isn't that great, it's only special because of long range weaponry. After refit it's as expensive as a cruiser, so it should be powerful. Props to the FO development team for using the refit feature to limit the actual hull designs, but make it into a light cruiser later in a match. If the rhienn is weakened too much the Rommies won't have a good cruiser except those stupid generix things

I heard from Optec that there will be in V3 just 3 generix variants with basic generix variant. Those 3 are reffits from basic generix and it's buildable from Romulan staryard.
Those 3 variants are: frigate, support, dreadnought.

Excellent! One less shipyard to keep track of. I admit the support variant with the shield enhancer a la the Shadow class from A1 and A2 could be useful in certain situations.

Hope Genrix prices are fixed, their not useful when you gotta upgrade 20 times and it cost so much to.

i think it would be cool if all ships would get such kinda techtree like the generix... it would add a whole bunch of more trek realism

True, sovern for instance. Research Photons then Quantums, and it's special weapons, then maybe extra strength against the Borg.

i don't think that would be much realistic. we play in a post-dominion war era so why should be research 200 year old photon torpedos?
