I think we should go for the classics: Lyran, Mirak, ISC, Hydrans, Sha'Kurians, Gorn, Tholians... I guess the Rakelli or Kessok would work pretty well too (map objects atleast) :)

lol I love the hydrans, such crappy ships but awsome wepons and designs. klingons awalys kicked my ass though, ah SFC OP how i loved thee.

If theres ever gonna be a new race to add... it should be the Tholians...
They deserve more love than anyone else! You nearly never find anything Tholian related which is very sad...

Found it ... but there's a huge bunch of work todo befor something like that could be applied to FO.

You mean as a possible 9th race  :lol:


I know Tholians will be one of the first three major NPC's released (Cardassian, Tholian... and can't remmeber the third  :ermm:)

voted Ferengi they had a great bunch of ship types in Birth of the Federation.  I could imagin they might also have an interesting gameplay of merc like behavior. or savaging ships back to their base to sell.  Kind of like their npc abilities now but a little more competitive minded.    Not that original really but interesting.
