what about adding the maquis as a non playable race that would be really kool btw loved the mod and cant wait till beta 2

yep, the maquis is planed as a non playable race. perhaps it will be in the first non-playar-race package which will come with beta3.. in beta2 there will only bee the breen and species 8472 as non-player-races (npr) to test the new feature

about the npr's, have someone thought about the kam'jateh :alien: (don't know if it's the correct name ) from the ps1 game star trek: invasion as a npr ?
i know they don't have many ships and stations but they have cool looking ships

oh and btw, is it possible to assimilate some of the npr races (breen, marquis,....) ?
i know it's called non-player-race but is it non-assimilateable-race too ?

yep you can board or assimilate all np races.. exept those who don't have crew, as usual
