Old Hotkeys!

plz could you switch back to the old armada 2 hotkeys? i think it was much better to to have the ships and keys in a row (F1 = first ship in yard, F2 = second ship and so on) instead of using some other unordered keys like in the last release.

tbh i cant see it happening, and also theyre pretty sensible, there are some which are a little off... like the norexean being "O"... imo dont whine about it. plus with the avatars adding ships etc... the order of ships in build queues may change, so this is a more consistant way of keeping it.

you dont strike me as a regular FO player, if you were you wouldnt have a problem with the hotkeys as they are, and i dont see how you can make requests about the mod if you dont play it regularly lol.

i may be wrong though gl hf.

dan just cuz they dont play with us dont mean there not regular, plus he may play armada 2 alot and Fo, i have to be honest i dont ever use hot keys, im quite happy clicking away wid da mouse but its a shame its not possible to set your own hot keys really, maybe u can tell him the file to play with so he can do it himself, or is in the ship .odf, cant be bothered to chec

mmmm, in laggy games tho, clicking doesnt register, whereas pressing the hotkeys virtually always does so its a more surefire way of doing things

I'm playing A2 and Fo online.

But i see no order in the hotkeys... using the F buttons is much more easier.

I agree with TParis. the old ones were much better and easier to handle. They should set letter hot keys for special weapons only and F1, F2, ... to manage building tasks..

That shows how noobish you are
It's much more comfortable click on the yard, press F3 as much as u need and during that you can concentrate on other things. If you do by mouse only you have to click the yard then click the build button and then click the ships you want to build. It's a waste of time, a lost of overview and last but not least a waste of my nerves...so go and train a better micromanagement. noob.

hmm noobish jan? than how come baron and me won so many many many times by not using hotkeys?

you just do your thing and stop with the insults okay
besides you lost one too many games againt me and baron, so what does that tell about you? taking into account that using just the graphic interface is so very noobish.
