In that case, it seems FO was right? Guess that means that The Wesley and The Borg do use the same devices...

Or at least similar types of devices. It's just a similar form of nanotechnology.

And since when do Star Trek and the Real World coincide with one another?

Borg use Nanoprobes people, get over it.

Nanoprobes are Nanotechnology. Nanites are Nanotechnology. Any microscopic machine is Nanotechnology. I would assume that if you have one you could have the other very easily. The terms used are trivial. Its like calling a Computer a Desktop, PC, Laptop or Electronic Computational Device technically their all right but different names for the same kind of thing. Nanotechnology is a general term and encompasses many types of versions of that field. Its only logical you wouldn't just have ONE type of technology of that field. Its like making a Laptop but never making a PC. Technological progression just doesn't work like that.

The Feringi are a mysterious race of people who live on the planet Larson on the far side of the galaxy. :)  They are actually quite peaceful, but due to their eccentric ways they are often misunderstood.  Because of this, over time people have come to fear or even accuse the Feringi of things they had nothing to do with, blaming them for any trouble that happened.

Crops not having enough rain?  Must have been the Feringi.  Lost all your money at the casino?  Must have been a Feringi at fault.

To be honest, I think this crass and even racist discrimination of the Feringi has gone too far, and on behalf of the Feringi who can't speak for themselves because they have no mouths I demand an apology from you Dircome! >:(

Don't they normally blame the Ferengi for that? They're often right, of course...

Well, it was a plot by the Ferengi to smear the good name of the Feringi as a way of confusing people.  It is one of the galaxy's greatest and most successful ruses and even has a Klingon song dedicated to it. :)
