I'd seriously rather the Command Cube be voiced by either a new Speaker, or a simply the Collective.

I view the Queen as an error introduced by Hugh's individuality, and thank Janeway for blowing it up.  Now the Borg can get back to work.

No Borg ship should have a unique voice; they're the only ones who could actually work using the same files.

Queen = Diamond owner. The only Diamond we ever saw, funnily enough.

I agree with that. Vorta are the captains, a Jem'Hadar First is the commander.

Also, stations in the show have a Command centre that answers hails just like a ship would. Why not give voices to manned stations?

Have the Borg Voices sound more like as if hearing the collective thoughts (many voices backed with a lot of collective bg sounds). And have the upcoming command Cube voiced by a Queen.

The Federation however I believe is an overall mix. But I'd like their speaking to properly fit their ship's description (I mean, no nebula saying "Ready phasers and Quantum Torpedoes" when they have none.)

I like the Klingons speaking Klingon idea. Might be harder to figure out the "get this tug moving" line though.

The current Borg voices already have that, but maybe adding more voices would help. As far as the Queen: Abosulutely never in million years do I need a reminder of what FC and Voyager did to the Borg. The Queen is irrelevant.

Fleet Ops Nebulas don't even have Photons right now; Memory Alpha said this about its torpedo armament: "The typical offensive arsenal of the Nebula-class included a torpedo launcher located on the secondary hull above the deflector dish, and on some variants, a torpedo launcher located on the superstructure located above the primary hull." Quite possible that the photons would be replaced by Quantums years after the setting of Fleet Ops. The voices could really use a change (along with the Nebula's armament.)

If the Nebula ever gets Photons, I doubt they'd be upgraded to Quantums. Every ship that focuses its Heavy weaponry on Photons in the show (Akira, Galaxy, Intrepid, ect) haven't had them replaced. I doubt the Nebula would get special treatment.

FO Starfleet still makes pretty extensive use of Photons. The Nebula weapon issue is easily explained as a recent refit, so giving it a torpedo wouldn't be needed.

Recent refit? The torp launcher above the deflector (only seen in First Contact) was just before or during the Dominion war, and the torpedos in the pod were seen used in "TNG:Redemption, part II." 2368 and 2373 sure are recent dates in the FO timeline (2390-2395). Anyways, the guide has stated we may see other variants, I just hope that we see them with photons more often than not.

I'd like to see the voices mention the photons when we do see Nebulas with photons. Seeing as there are many different variants, there could be some with quantums, which would be nice to have separate voices as well.

Did I ever refer to the Torpedo as a recent refit? Recent refit implies something that happened recently, FO Nebulas with Pulse Phasers are the recent varient. I only actually said that explains the weapon issue.

We can only wait to see what the future variations are like, since we do know they will be added eventually.

i think pulses are odd for the nebula class. pulses on such a large ship seem odd. that bothers me about the phalanx too. i think there should be at minimum two nebula class variants, the two we saw clearly, the one with the giant plectrum shaped torp launcher on top, and the one with the bin lid shaped sensor array on top. each of course specialised, so the torp one being a torp ship and the sensor one having the good sensors like the current one. the other variants are less important to me, but i guess the four nacelled types could have better speed, maybe if pulses are to stay they could go on the fast nebula for harassing.

I think it's really odd that a refit would replace torps with pulses. Torps may not be very good against shielding, but they annihilate hulls. Torpedos also hav non-combat uses far greater than pulses. Pulses are also more limited by firing arcs, and would place more stress on the weapons systems. Unless ECM was being used extremely heavily or something. Agreed that a large ship probably wouldn't use pulses, it's just not Starfleet style (big ships got defensive armament, not offensive.)

What makes Pulses a little ship priority? There's nothing wrong with big ships using them, because they're not size specific, have advantages Torpedoes don't and 'out-of-battle' use is irrelivant here.

Where does 'Starfleet-style' and this stress thing come from? I don't recall that in either Trek nor Fleet Ops canon.

More importantly, we're off-topic.

With the work I'm already doing on Klingon ship names, this would be relatively easy.  All I'd need is a professional-quality microphone, and I know someone who I could barrow it from.  I might be able to recruit some female voice talent as well, depending on the level of interest.
