A low priority request really, I think it would just be nice to hear more accented phrases, more women, and more alien-like voices on the ships :) . It's a bit odd to have almost all the Federation ships have midwestern US style voices for instance :D .

How about the past Repair ship voice? I haven't check myself, but people have said that got changed.

Yes... now it has the same voice set as the Mandril, no?  :sweatdrop:

Yeah, the odf is still unique. Directs to the freighter sounds, though.

I liked the last voice, now it sounds like Starfleet is going for the Dominion approach.

Well the a1 voices are mostly the same phrases but could work to add more variations. From what I can tell they are different sounding than the a2 versions. It could be done with Klingons and romulans too.

I believe they are working on many more sound sets (for instance, the D'deridex set) - I just wanted a friendly reminder of these older ones too :D

just be sure you don't remove  "Gre'Thor shall be paved with there ashes" from the Klingon sets  :p  I love that line.  another good line is  "Damn its good to be in the Federation" or however that one goes.

p.s. isn't that Romulan line actually "Tis more brave to live than to die"

Can we make the Klingons less comical? (I find them silly.... who says "tug"???)  :sweatdrop:

People with little patience and a low opinion of their (non combat) ship? Calling their constructor that will be because they're bitter about not being on a warship. Fits them perfectly, and one of their best in-game lines.

It is.

As long as "Zeigen Sie mir die Sternenkartographie!" or whatever it was stays out I won't mind more diversity  :sweatdrop:

Nothing quite so pointed a reminder of the nature of klingons.  Especially if they start singing when you issue an attack order.

Kinda off-topic but I wanted to request a background ambience/music for the Borg with the collective chatter like you hear on First Contact. I would find that awesome and atmospheric.

I would like to have background chatter for all races.

if u like that, fine, but as long as there remains the option to disable these unit chatters i'm happy. i currently turn them all off.

I was thinking of this.

Have the Klingons speak Klingon! (They kinda pulled it off in A1, but with some flaws on Klingon pronunciation.)

Have the Romulan commanders mostly females (a lot of the Romulan commanders I seen were female, and whenever not the commander, usually some other high ranking official).

The Vorta should be speaking for the Dominion ships. (They have a Vorta on every Dominion vessel, why have it that the Jem'Hadar speak? Maybe for lower vessels, but I'd like to hear more Vorta.)

Have the Borg Voices sound more like as if hearing the collective thoughts (many voices backed with a lot of collective bg sounds). And have the upcoming command Cube voiced by a Queen.

The Federation however I believe is an overall mix. But I'd like their speaking to properly fit their ship's description (I mean, no nebula saying "Ready phasers and Quantum Torpedoes" when they have none.)
