Flying through them is good, I'd probably try it with a Galaxy for the Evulz.

actualy i like most of the ideas, exept one:
Support ships should not have higher hit rates. Why? Support stays suport, not combat. Combat ships are made for aiming and shooting stuff, support not. If we change it, it would make combat ships senseless. And btw: Most guys on warships learn how to locate targets and how to avoid some stuff.
On the other side: it might make sense if you reduce the evade chances for support vessels, so those get hit more.

missing the target is caused by enemy fooling with your sensors, support ships have good sensor arrays, so would be able to see through the ECM. they are filled with science-y stuff, and crew like jadzia dax, smart people who can figure out how to bypass ecm etc.

combat prooven crews of combat vessels cant do that?  :shifty:
think about it urself: vessels where the crew is trained for combat, trained to work against ships which also got those ecm stuff. common u cant be serios that a science guy aims better than one that is trained for it

I think the advanced sensors of the science ships and the experience of the combat ship crews could realistically cancel, with neither being better at hitting their target.
