all RFO wants is you wear the tags, you can keep every thing else that is yours....(and some stuff that isn't )

but back on topic of mining, how does one stabilize their resources early in game [i]and[i] still have ships to fight?  i can't figure it out    :sweatdrop:

Well, yesterday's battle against cairo1 and praetor_defiant taught me (although it may have been just dumb luck) that it is wise to expand quickly without fear of getting mining stations destroyed. Thus it is good to have at least 3 dilithium and three tritanium with 3 to four harvesters each within the first 3-10 minutes. Meanwhile build a shipyard and first tech center asap and start pumping out low level ships, but not enough to damage your capability to produce freighters and those six mining stations. Don't worry to much about an attack at this stage (I think) because if someone decides to do something this rash they will have wasted their resources building ships and you will have much greater momentum and capability to not only rebuild but also to build shipyards and ships faster than your oponent. Using yesterday's example and this strategy I was able to amass one and a half fleets (20 low class ships and 4 b-ships for the romies) and thus outnumbered one oponent more than 2 or 3 to one at that time.
-dom (RFO appeals to me cuz I love the romies btw)

a small idea:
why not 2 ships for the minen?
but the secend ship, those are everything not able take
but those take max52% og the mining
there is much loss at the second ship

But it has been thought...

Is there a special reason why the second ship should have a lack of capacity compared to the first one?
posted on August 14th, 2007, 10:46 pm
because the firstly to concentrating on it mines/mining
but the Second does not have much place
because the Second too near state at the first
and the second ship something will work slowly,
thus mines/mining will reduce also much of quality

from there those max52%
