klingon ship upgrades

The B'rel Class in the series rarely fires Torpedos, it mainly relies on Pulse Disruptors. So only having Torpedos on 1 avatar isn't really too far from the canon.

torps as an upgraded ability on reaching double gold bars. regardless of the avatar.

Wouldn't that make it a weaker Defiant? Except the Defiant is more likely to live long enough.

Level5 for Martok, Level4 for the other one?

Didnt the defiant use quantum torps too?
the Defiant's weapons pack more of a punch while allowing it more defense from the ablative armour.

But in concept the defiant is of the same B'rel concept of a small manoevrable ship which packs a wallop.

I dont see the b'rel becoming another defiant simply by virtue of it getting a torp on increasing in rank. The defiant should be packing more of a punch - much more.

I said weaker. It would still make the level-up neary the same.

Defiant = 2 Pulse, gaining torpedos as an officer.
B'rel = 2 Pulses, gaining torpedos as an officer.

Adding the torpedos at a different rank for each avatar is a possibility.

aye that should already be balanced in, from the current tests everything seems to be okay so far, but i will take a look again later this week

it is balanced . i can see it now as i tested it a bit longer. sry again for the whining . now where is that 'remove all my crap from this thread' button. i can't find it
