I am all for this though I doubt how this could be implemented. Awesome if they figure it out though.

"All Good Things..." Get three Galaxy-Class Ships in one game.

"Space, the final frontier" - Play every map

"Beam me up, Scotty" - Reinforce the crew of a ship by beaming

"Live long...and prosper" - An allied was defeated

"The Romulans... fought with honor." - win a game as romulan player, but lose more ships than your enemy(s)

"Reports of my assimilation are greatly exaggerated" - Conquer a ship of the borg back

"Somehow I doubt this will be the last ship to carry the name Enterprise." - Build a Sovereign-class after you lose a Galaxy-Class Ship.

"Guess who's coming to dinner?" - Get allied with a Klingon player

"First rule of assassination. Kill the assassins." - Destroy 10 cloaked ships in one game

I have given the idea some more thought, perhaps it would be better to make these achievements per match. Meaning that you win achievements for each match (anew). That would make give them the casual nature that seems to be generally wished for.

those would more accurately (accurate to the console analogy) be called medals then. a fine idea. i'm happy with nonpersistence.

"This is SPARTA!!!" - Destroy the first-build enemy scout with your FULL ARMED starbase.

"Houston we got a... lil' problem here...?" - Discover a cloaked enemy fleet (more than 12 ships) IN your base with a tachyon ping, used by a scout.

"Give it back! - Uhm... No?" - beam aboard an enemy vessel that has been stolen by the Ferengi.

"Right infront of my door step... " - lose a cloaked scout in a borg base.

"You don't need this moon... Damn it! - I said you don't need it... " - destroy the mining station of an enemy more than 3 times at the same moon.

"Everybody remember where we parked." - cloak scout folowing enemy fleet go true decloaking nebula .....and die.

"Do you want to tell me what’s bothering you or would you like to break some more furniture?" - to player who in anger of losing match demolish his keyboard , monitor or pc...

"Quark: It’s good to want things.

Quark: Especially things you can’t have. " - for trying to overtake borg ship by transporting on it.
"Borg Kobayashi Maru" - for....ehm..... for succeeding with tac cube...

"Money is money, but women...are better." - if your girlfriend takes you away from pc...

"Fate: protects fools, little children, and ships named Enterprise." - Galaxy or Sovereign class ship leaving battle with less then 10 hitpoints.

"Assimilate this!" - killing borg cube with your last ship on battlefield.

"All I have to worry about are the Klingons, the Dominion, and the Maquis. I feel like I’m on vacation." - winning a 8 player FFA match ...

"Act, and you shall have dinner; wait, and you shall be dinner." - klingon player wins a match in less then 10 minutes.

"Sorry, it's my first ray gun." - for free to noobies.

"This far, no farther!" - for turreting.

"I was out saving the galaxy when your grandfather was in diapers" - 500 online games played...

"Life forms.... You tiny little life forms..... You precious little life forms.... Where are you?" - looking for last hiden enemy ship on map longer then 15 minutes...

"Today is a good day to die" - get overrun by an enemy fleet, using ALL of your freighters as battle ships. (klingon)
"Quap'la!!!" - Defeat the enemy fleet with the "freighters". (klingon)

"All your cookies belong to us." - assimilate a Dominion supply station.

"It's time that we start to assimilate, too." - Capture a Borg construction vessel and build a mixed tech Interpid class.

"There's only one thing you can replace weapons with: More weapons" - Capture construtions vessels and build an Akira class with additional torpedo launcher and a Defaint Class with antimatter mines.

"WE ARE THE---" - Destroy a Borg vessel in less than 3 seconds.

"Welcome to hell." - Get your base attacked by everyone at the same time.

"All your powers combined" - As Federation, have a fleet of at least five ships all providing synergy for each other. Or: As Federation, have one ship under the effects of five separate synergies.
"AI... What's the A stand for?" - Lose a game to an AI on it's easiest difficulty.

have a think about that one, they're very unlikely to do a rape/racist joke. sensitive children will be playing this game as well. someone has to think of the children (!)

Well, I think you're right here.
You know what the joke means, but - YES - it is a NO-GO.

How about this:

"But... that's just bits and bytes...." instead of the other frame.
