An avatar centered around a single ship? Frankly what would be the use of a single cloaking ship? A little scouting maybe but 1 would be worthless in combat except against only a few ships.

I'm not saying a whole avatar just to give a def. class cloak, but an intel avatar wich gives the defiant class cloak and make scouts who have holographic masking tech or somefin and some intel special weapons like away teams or whatever

Still, seems like a waste of avatar when the real reason of FO is to kill your opponant, while you scout them out they came around with a fleet of cubes.

Oh I love a slow game, but you cant win a game on scouting and intel alone.

turn fog off. lol nah i hate that..i use spy sattilites...but in FO there not as good, its better to use scout ships.

lol, of course an sf intelligence avatar would have access to some experimental weapons of fo or something or maybe even illegal weapons

What about a time shift field around a ship making it in visible? It could still be detected with a tachon grid. :tank:=

This has been discused b4 on numerous occasions, why can u fed players just accept that Defiant aint goning to get its cloak
For a hero ship maybe, then I am all for it, but just 1 ship-the real Defiant

I'm happy with it now, without cloak. Cloak would ruin the fed side anyway.

I think there should be a Fed Avatar with Picard and the Enterprise-E. You really can't have a TNG game without the Enterprise...But the Enterprise wouldn't be invincible....she would be just like a standard Sovvy with maybe just a little bit stronger hull and faster shield recharge to reflect that she has the best crew in the fleet..and one of Starfleet's finest captains. If you select the Enterprise as ur avatar...you would have access to the Enterprise's Rapid Fire Quantum Torpedo turret and Type-4 burst fire Photon launchers as well as having a Starbase like Space Dock...instead of the standard Federation Outpost. You might also begin with Starfleet Command already constructed as well as a playable McKinley Shipyard. Eh...maybe for V4.
