Founders

In the Fleet Ops timeline there are two groups of founders - the Gamma, who aren't interested in anything Alpha anymore, and the Alpha, who are the break-aways in Breen space. Since there is no massive link (only a few Founders) one would bet that they aren't so willing to use all of the same silly tactics as before

it was never stated caterogically one way or the other.

we only have a vague line saying that the prophets were the only reason the dominion werent coming through.

they could have been doing that by keeping it closed during the war.

i think that the dominion would have at least tried to send a probe through.

the next time we see the wormhole used is when kira takes odo back to fix the goo. by this time sisko is already dead and could have opened it again for them.

either way it changes nothing as the dominion probably had a fair number of ships waiting on the other side anyway.

Well we DO know that Dukat closed it, and we do know that Sisko reopened it, as for the Dominion using it, the episode where the federation retook DS9 there was a fleet of 2000 dominion ships in transit, Sisko took the Defiant in and talked to the Prophets and as fas as anyon knows the 2000 ships werent seen agaiin. Yeah they never explain what happened to them, it could be the aliens never let the Dominion use the wormhole, but IF the dominion ships were lost you can bet 2000 ships is alot to swallow even for the Dominion. They likely wouldnt want to risk losing another fleet like that again.

Ive been around, just havent seen much interesting to post on lately

dukat closing it probably means that it was open in order for him to close it. so it was open after the fleet was destroyed but the prophets were stopping the dominion from coming thru.

after sisko re-opened it, things probably went back to how they were before dukat, ie wormhole open, but dominion not able to send ships thru and feds not wanting to go thru.

they probably tried sending probes and the prophets om nom nommed them too.
