this whood be a moning station with lite weponds the station can allso cloke. the station reqiors clocked mining frigets that cost more to bild and dont hold as much.

i whood find this station very usefull. and whood make the romulends a bit more sneeky.

un balanced. and why would you want to make a cargo ship that can cloan but can hoal less ore around?

about a special weapon that can change beam disrupters to pulse disrupters for as long as its activated ( that instead of a torp burst) B)

the unbalisted part can be fixed by a justing seting for uther races. but if you like the idea pleace vote for it.

allso keepin mind the romulaon wepond from bata 2 that will instantly distroy ships will ether be chaged or takin out so this i think good give the romulands a real good wepond agin not some thing to pawer fule but some thing sneeky.

I actually like the idea. A cloaked mining facility with cloaking freighters. Perhaps make them hold as much as a normal freighter, but up the capacity of normal freighters. You can mine faster or you can hide it.

And what would be really cool for the Romulans would be an Area Effect cloaking generator. Generates a cloaking field, making a section of the map invisible, without the ships/stations having to lower their shields and still being able to fire. Make it one of the super weapons. Cost like 6 credits and cloak your whole base.

thare all redy is some thing like that in bata2. it duss not work well be cuss its only for a short time it allso only covers a small area and i think it duss cost credits.

Hmm..I just remember the one that enables your ships to fire when cloaked that sooo backfired on me....

lol yeah cloaking generator :D

But IF other races dont get better cloak detection techniques I dont think romulans SHOULD have sort of cloak your base tech. I mean that way u would first have to target that area with your base scanner or build sensor station next to that -_-

IF other races get tac detection on some ship than there is see no problem with it :)

i think the canaveral class will get the tachyon detection passive upgrade in v3 :)
not sure about other races.

hes talking about in a ship that you can move around in someones base. :)
not sure if every race will have that, suppose only optec, doca or detektor can answer that ^_^

Well the thing is IF u dont have a ship with tac detection how the hell r u gonna find him f***in base, I hate the con ships with cloak I cant imagine how much I would hate bases with cloak :wacko:

It does fit the Romulans well in my opinion to have cloaked bases. I know this is not in A1, A2, or FO, but they had cloaked starbases in SFC. It makes good sense in my opinion.
