Federation Ship classes

Hello everyone,

a friend and I was chatting some days ago, we talked about several Star Trek Games. While that he came up with an impressing large image of the federation vessels of Star Trek online.

NX, Olympic (both maybe), Constitution, Miranda will. Prometheus was and is it still there?
Galaxy, Nebula, Centaur, Saber, Akira, Nova, Excelsior, Intrepid, Defaint, Sovereign allready are. And I think the Fed Carrier looks very similar to the Emissary.

The other are just looking bad or like refits. I only like the Luna somehow.

So, which ships do you want

The Olympic will be in some future release, but not in the look of STO (I wonder why they got it to look that wrong).
The Prometheus will be ingame as soon as the devs find a way to implement MVAM suitable to FO.

Galaxy, Nebula, Centaur, Saber, Akira, Nova, Excelsior, Intrepid, Defaint, Sovereign allready are.

However, not in the STO-style.

I was just talking about wich shipclases will come or which are allready there.
Not in wich style they are (FO has its own I think, but it is very near to the series).

I was wondering about the Olympic too. Btw, did STO have no Steamrunner oO

I wonder why they got it to look that wrong

they didnt try to get it wrong (unless they are truly trolling the world) they just have no taste.

You must be kidding. You tell me you don't like the uber-cool Defiant- Intrepid- and Nova-variants? 

How the game didn't flop makes me really wonder. You have to pay monthly to command ships so ugly... the players must either be mindless zombies or teenage people who enjoy the shooting.

And is the Zephyr the Steamrunner? oO


But look which games are mostly buyed... Then some Trekis who avoid the ugly ships (I think you can choose known types up to the highest level) and the game runs.

Just for example
I would go Miranda/Centaur -> Conni, Nova or Saber (I hope I can change the Shipclass after the 1. time), Akira, Exel or Neb (or are Exel and Neb are just buyable or somthing), Intrepid, Galaxy or Defaint, Emissary or Luna (I never realy liked the Sovi or the Prometheus).
But maybe I just would use Cruisers.

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I actually like most of STO's ship designs. If anything, I think they could be thinned a bit, most of the ships I've seen are a bit too thick, and seem out of proportion. I'd love it if some STO ships made their way to FO.

Pretty much all STO ships are fugly and their creators need to die in a fire.

Ooooo another newbe waiting for a beating.

I tried this idea once..... the whole STO ship thing ........ it did not end well.

P.S. and Tok'ra, i'd prefer if they died by toxic gas and electrocution

Death in a fire (or at all) is a little extreme... but I agree that many of their designs leave much to be desired.
