Actually, the term "fed-rats" is a despective term from the BattleTech universe.

I did mean the series bits sounded bad though, not the rest of the mickey-take... What does "despective" mean?

Uuhh...

Sorry. I always thought "despective" was an English word. I checked and I was wrong. Online translation provides a closest match with "contemptuous".

Still, "contemptuous" has a more active implication than the intended "despective".

Yeah. An unarmed debris collector. Klingon would love to be assigned to an unarmed janitorial ship. NOT.

Still, the Klingon marine ship I described has some merits, even if I exaggerated the traits. The boarding combat teletransporter should deploy more marines than standard teletransporters and the ship itself should have sensibly more crew than any other kind of ship. So for a realistic boarder ship, the transporters should deploy in the 10-15 marines per second (or per wave) range and not the usual 3.

As for Federation ideas, I think the forum already has more than needed. It's the other factions/races that need more content.

Still, the lack of player-suggested additions may force the devs to think on ideas themselves, and if those ideas don't get commented, they will surprise us all.
