Endless Torpedos anyone ?

oh, yea, dynamic was the word i was looking for ;) but i think just the opposite happens, as you would have to stop your offensive.
yea, world war 3 is from the same developers as earth 2150 i think. i played earth 2150 a lot and i more or less liked the ammo system there. except if you have a lot of units, it took years to resupply them and you were basically just standing there with your tanks waiting..
and though the ideas with torpedo supplies are all interesting, i fear that this system just isn't right for a game like armada

What about Torpedoes that take Special energy to fire?

There is a mod for stock that has Torpedoes that take about 10% of the Special Energy to fire. All ships fire a large volley in the opening shot, then 1 at a time as the energy reloads.

The problem is that one had no Special Weapons, so FO would be harder.

ok I had never played a game with ammo resuply need it just souned like a good idea but I will except to doca wisdom :thumbsup:.

well i remember 1 game where i liked the ammo thing, but that was M.A.X and that was round based ...

ammo works only with tactical games not with fleet games
