i would be nice if the feds captured a rom fire when cloaked station to allow their defiants to cloak that way the game would not be unbalenced by this

The Treaty of Algeron, was the peace agreement between the Romulan Star Empire and the United Federation of Planets. The treaty states that no federation ship shall operate a cloaking device.

This is why the klingons domt give cloaking devcies to the federation and only the romulans gave starfleet one, since they could bend the rules if both parties agreed. Not to mention there was the not to strictly adheared to stipulation of only using it in the Gamma Quadrent.

Maybe a Defiant Hero Unit, as in The USS Defiant, as a map object with a cloaking device.

Cloaking defiant would have to be some sort of hero ship, but other cloaking federation vessels do exist in Section 31. Its probbably already been discused but for cloaking Fed ships a section 31 avatar would be a good idea.

I just did a search for section 31 and aparently in october last year it was planned to include them as an avatar so cloaking Feds may happen yet, dont know if plans have changed since then.

DUDES, why dont u just give up, THERE WILL BE NO CLOAKING FED SHIPS, except maybe a Defiant hero unit

section 31`using cloak? i imagined they would use holoships.
