It happened in DS9. Why not here as a special ability with an avatar?

I was thinking of it being under Mayson's Avatar.

Nope, not going to happen. The romulans only gave one cloaking device and it went to the Defiant. Seeing as how the federation only got one and to my knowledge it was blown up or something, it wouldn't make sense for the federation to get one or more.

well see I personally like things real to star trek and it's story, and it doesn't seem like with the Dominion gone that the Romulans would give up their cloaking technology.

but the dominion are not gone in this game. i just thought of it sitting here in front of my computer, so its only an idear.

i understand where you are coming from cause i like things that way 2, but this isnt exactly current with the dominion being here.

in fo the defiant ships are quite powerfull and making them cloak would be a bit unbalanced.

About the cloaking device, even if the rommies would give one, i bet the allied klingons would give one if the feds would act really nice to them

and thare all aredt mager inconsitanys in the games story line as it is like the fact that roge domanon joned the breen the doman dint war ships to wipe out the breen home world. thay whood not team up.

Yep, the feddies won't get cloaking. they already have enough good stuff.

besides that the dominion is gone in the FO story line. FO takes place after the Dominion war (starting arround 2378-2380).

As I understand FO has its own storyline, and from what optec told me it's a damn good one
If I remember right rommies wont be fighting the dominion, but ask optec for more detailes
