there are repair ships :lol:  Just not for everyone. :sweatdrop:

Cardies will be in, but not as a race.  you will have to wait for the mods. :thumbsup:

And I am with you on the traiding stations.  I'm sure they are planned for the future in some way.

I understand the Newton (repair ship) is going to get a downgrade or be removed or something.  There was a topic but forget exactly what was said was planned for it.

Trading stations will be nice.  Hopefully they will sort out he bug which vanilla had with ships getting stuck in dock.

Cardies according to the FO timeline are not a power anymore which is the reason why the devs will only include them as map objects.  I'm sure the mods will follow converting them to a full race once this happens though.

1) Obviously as mentioned the Cards will be NPC only.

2) Getting trading back into the game is a wip.

3) You'll just have to make due with what there is.

I would be so good to have new race,better cardassians that those bloodclot Species 123 or Ferenegi

New Ideas!


  When you select your builder to build something,on place that is big enough but units sit there preventing you from building,its sucks.... so lets make them go little bit away automaticly when they are in building area.It works perfectly in other games,it gives you more time to do other things,witch is good


Make a little ikon in middle right side of screen for easier activation of that Klingon damage boost special starbase.


In brain section of unit behaviour,make new option witch will tell unit when to go home and repair. For example  1. option  dont return for repair no matter what damage  2.  return when shield is at  25% or yellow crew ( safe return )  3.  return when hull is at 50% or red crew ( dangerous return )          when the ship is selected for second option,the safe return at 25% shield and have 85% hull and 40% shields at the moment,in will return.

1)You're only the tenth person to bring this up lol so, yes they have already said that it is on their todo list.

2)I think that would be cool just like with many of the C&C games. Have it below the chat text.

3)Interesting idea though I don't know if it would even be possible.

The idea of making units repair after reaching a certain damage level has been proposed before, I don't remember what the devs said about it. I'm sure it is possible, tho I think they shouldn't begin working on it until the replaceweapon bug is fixed.

Units automatically going for repairs after a specific amount of damage is already in the game. It is in the race files. Basically it's the race retreat ratio, based on damage taken and loss of crew. You can establish the amount of damage by percent that will cause the race's shipa to retreat from battle for repairs. The crew loss entry allows you to give a percentage of crew lost on a ship to trigger a retreat and repair. This is the rub....it is only utilised by AI controled races. Armada is set up so that a player has to micro manage his fleet at all levels, so it is intended that the player handle repairs on a personal basis instead of send the fleet to battle and forget about it. I don't know if the coding can be changed...but anything is possible.

And i would rather it stays in the hands of the players as well.  I wouldn't even like an option for this, otherwise it just becomes fire and forget.  What next?  Automatic build strategies?  :rolleyes:

I would prefer it to be an ship AI function such as the firing of the special weapons or green,yellow, red alert

The devs rightfully rejected it - as Optec said, imagine your heavily damaged warbird turning around and fleeing in the middle of battle just as you are about to win  :rolleyes: No wait! Come back! LOOOONE STAAAAR!

At first repair autonomy might seem like it would decrease the amount of micromanagement - however an enemy could make your life difficult by cleverly cycling through your ships, causing them to one by one go for repair. You end up having to catch a constant stream of your ships leaving the fray, while the rest of your ships die (especially if your support ships are leaving).

I actually like this idea.  Apply it to all race special stations.

Yeah, that's one of the most popular requests in the past actually - sadly not so easy to affix new things to the GUI  :sweatdrop:
