Or have it in the settings menu.... because if you lock it out in the RTS_CFG.h file... then you'll have compatibility problems in MP.

Yeah, thats pretty sweet.  I would make it standard time rather than military time though. :sweatdrop:

It would be better with Military time as the default, and capable of being switched to standard in the settings menu. Military time would be better for people who prefer a more Trek-like clock, since the game is based around the military.

I agree with Tyler.

by military time do you mean 24 hour clock? standard time being 12 hour?

in which case i think it should default to the system setting, whatever you have your system clock time format as.

i personally cant stand 12 hour clock.

why not just give it an option to use both???

A toggle or both together? I suggested a toggle. Toggles solve everything.

I'll never use it, but as long as its optional (and doesn't get messed up by lag) I support it. I just never want to lose my excuse for staying up later then I planned. "I didn't know 2 hours had gone by! I felt like 30 min, honest."

There is a  free program called (Klingon Klock ) that I feel would be great  for the Klingon lovers. If I remember correctly  it is free ware and runs  on the main  screen of the pc  and can be toggled to Chime every hour  , half hour, every quarter hour or every minute. It can also be toggled off, when not needed.  The program gives the time in klingon  and the GUI can be  toggled  to be  english , or klingon.  I'll have to  try  to find it, and  try to see if it can be running at the same time  FO  is running.

It's here: http://mario.lapam.mo.it/software/programs/default.htm

It would be useless ingame unless you know Klingon numbers, though. Only the text can be in english, so you'd have to keep switching out to see (meaning that it will be no different to the standard PC clock).

So learn Klingon numbers... can't be too hard can it?

Verbal numbers are a bit tougher than written ones...

Oh, I thought you were referring to the actual clock with the time on it in Klingon. Why do you need the verbal part of the clock anyways if its displayed in game?
