Uh no thanks, that would totally undermine one of the main advantages of cloaking...

Back on topic. Game clock would be cool but only if it is synced up with the Admirals log so you can get more accurate stardates; as in actually corresponding to when a battle went down.

Aye, and that could probably come with the Admiral's Log low priority redo  :sweatdrop:

good, romulan and klingon styles are too similar. the only difference is it takes longer to cloak and run as klingons. i think romulans should keep their cloaking prowess, but klingon cloak should make it far more obvious that there aren't many klingons scientists and that their cloak is basic.

I agree, a clock ingame that shows Windows time will be a nice feature.

Try searching for a clock that gets displayed through overlay, or something that displays a clock in a similar fashion as FRAPS displays it's data.
I tried searching for something like this, and I was unable to find anything of the sort.
Found OverlayTools.exe but it gets covered by the surface of Fleet Operations. Maybe the devs could get us some insight on how the Fleet Operations display mode works.

What if he is like me? The only clock in the room is broken.... :P

Then what?

buy a damn watch. or use your phone, or shout at someone in a nearby room, or fix/replace your damaged clock. clocks are cheap.

Having a clock ingame is way cheaper!

silence you >:( :sweatdrop:

your "No-Multiplayer" subtitle hints that you only play IA, so pause the game and go outside and ask someone the time. or minimise fleetops and use the windows clock. the ai wont mind you pausing the game.

Xfire shows the time in a movable adjustably-transparent overlay in-game (Xfire doesn't work with Fleet Ops though  :(.) It's very nice to not have to look away to read the time off of the cable box. Sure you can turn your head to read the time, but it's way more convenient to just look at the screen. Not much trouble for the devs to make a clock, and it wouldn't obscure your view very much.

I made a quick mock-up on Photoshop to show you what I mean. With white is the clock and with grey is the chronometer (optional). I don't think it will be an inconvenience for anyone.

Actually currently I cannot play the game at all :D
PC is still more broken then alive... and my subtitle is more of a moan then an assessment :P

@ Galefury
I would have put the Clock more to the right beneath the "Options" buttons, it gets a little bit to crowded with numbers on the left ;)

If this gets implemented my only request to the devs is please give us an 'OFF' switch for it in the RTS.CFG file. Thanks.
