/support the 2-button system.  Actually I care more about 2 hotkeys than 2 buttons but yeah...

Two buttons... One to cloak and separate the saucer. One to cloak without separating the saucer

I have an idea on how to seperate the cloak button.  Have the cloak button on the texture file take up 3 columns and have the actual button texture right in the middle.  That'll should separate the button on both sides unless the buttons are always a perfect square.  Then the button would be distorted a little.

I really dont understand what you just said but i promise that it wont work. Also the only reason that i brought it up earlier is so that none of the speration trolls would think that they were the first one to think of it.

I think he meant having a wider than normal button which has invisible sides, with the visible part in the middle.

That way it creates the illusion of being separated from nearby buttons - rather than involving any substantial coding changes to create a truly 'separated' cloak button.

I'd definitely like a 2-button cloak system.

The right-click rally point thing would be nice too, but that's not only from SCII - it's in a ton of RTS games.

Yeah but the button would still do the same thing....

Dominus_Noctis wrote:A two button system would probably be better - just would like to point out though that even if one unit is decloaked, if you hit the "cloak" button, all units will decloak. :)

But that's how it is currently Dom.  I hate it when you have a fleet cloaked and one guy didn't cloak cause lack of special energy and then you have to manually click that guy.  :crybaby: :crybaby:
