Can we add a ship?

I have a particular fodness for a certain class ship. I was wondering if it can be added into the mod? The Eximius-class is made by Cleeve. He was friend of mine and i helped him test the ship when he ported it for BC. It was one of the first ships made available for BC. I like the style of the ship and it's sweet array of weapons. Phasers, pulse phasers and quantum torpedoes. It could give the Feds a boost in mid game or late game.

I personally like the Eximius and would like to see her one day in FO.
I first thought of her as a replacement for the Descent but as they redid the Descent I have nothing left to complain about.
To stay realistic: maybe they'll add the Eximius as a map object.

i like the pointyness of it good going and i can see this [if accepted into the mod] as one hell of a ship . Again nice one

I think this is the only mod, where everything we say is actually taking into consideration. I Love FO =).

But regarding the Eximus...It's sort of like the prometheus, or any other massively armed, wedge shaped ship that is tactically undefeatable. And we had a long thread regarding the prommie. I've never been fonf of pointy futuristic ships, but that's just my opinion. The only thing I really have against it is the fact that the Federation has ... a lot of ships as it is, haha.

well you never know it could be one of those mixed tech ships. I was just wondering if it could be added somehow. I know the feds are much loved and have plenty of ships already, but when talking about adding ships though the idea of mixed tech, who knows what you can do.

Ah, but fullphaser, FO is set in the Federation's future, so a ship like this actually fits in better then some other confirmed federation map units like the Miranda.  I, personally, would love to see this ship ingame.

It's set in the future? Cool, didn't know that.

Anyways, since it seems the Descent class seems like it is now the most advanced ship, I think the Eximus is the logical replacement for the Sovereign. It seems like the direction Starfleet will take their future designs. The only thing I think this ship would require (other than research and buildings) is a fairly expensive 4th chassis that other "futuristic" ships could use, too.

So...then shouldn't we make the Vorcha the equivalent to the K'tinga...and do all the other future applications needed when it comes to refitting the federation fleet? And to take it to the extreme...the Galaxy-X and Voodieh classes respectively?

Well... how far into the future is FO set?
That far or just a few years after Voyager's return? I don't think that they replace every ship-class by then with a new one.

I think that flops is set right(?) after the dominion war. I've seen discusions about futuristic federations being introduced into the game before, but it would seem kind off silly to revamp the feds without the rest of the races following suite. I think it would be too much of a hastle to really work for any version of FO. Maybe for a mod for the mod; or maybe a mission. *hint, hint, nudge, nudge*. Or maybe, just maybe, it could be a hero ship... using the new odf thingy.

Here's some information about the Eximius. This page says it was first built in 2399.
According to Memory-Alpha the Dominion War ended in 2375.
Voyager returned a few years later.
So the Eximius is set a long time after FO takes place.
Though I like the Eximius I think it would be placed out of its time in FO.

Yeah. I wasn't trying to be a jerk, but Dominus essentially posted EXACTLY what I was trying to get across in a much better way, The Eximus is cool and all...but if we give the federation some warp speed death ships, the other guys need some too.
