maybe making the resistance is futile research reusable, but with a higher prize?
ooorr, don't know if t is possiblke: gaining connections fom killing the enemy?
like:"the collective grants you more connections for your efforts"

If you really want attack forces at that point, you can always build Probes. Yes, they aren't very powerful or cost effective, though they are fast, medium range, and destroyers that will be missed by most of those Negh'var. How did you let someone get up to 6 fleets of Negh'var (how the hell didn't one of you win before then anyway...). If you do straight build ups, the factions become extremely unbalanced due to the top tier ships of each faction not having even abilities or stats.

However .... over time I'm starting to think that buying Resistance is Futile over and over might be a good idea, with escallating costs like supplies now.

This was a test match. Dont know the map name, but there was only one way in the middle and we both build the best defense there we could. It was a test if one of us could smash through the defense of the other with his fleet. :)

And yeah, i really like the idea to get some more cc's out of the resistance is futile-button. Just make it usable all times for high resource costs, that would do the trick.
