I like the idea of these "dialect ships".

We could have the Picard british ship...
Scotty ship for Scotland of course...
Keep your shirt on Trip Tucker...
A Nuclear Wessel.. uh I mean... Chekov ship...

If you could make a self destruct that blew up immideatly and could actually cause damage to the hull of other ships, would be a nice weapon for heavily damaged ships.

I can make it fast, not strong. I think I can make the range bigger too. It is in the gselfdes.odf on CD.

Be nice to see it actually hurt another ship tho even if it had 100% shields, piece of that Romulan Norexan caused Enerprise to lose alot of shielding and prolly take a little structural damage.

well....the rommie phoenix effect.....or mabye power of self-destruct goes up with range.....i dont know...Optec, why did self destruct go bye-bye???

When freighters are full of latium they are prone to large explosions as in Armada II. If we could use the same effect on those ships it might work. Thats if the effect can still be put in FleetOps. ;)
