Adding More Strategy To The Game

i like that idea, btw i see what you guys mean, my idea wont work . I just want to add one small thing and that is when you play fo, do you notice the only ships you really use are the high level ones. Once you can get the descent then u max out on those and soverign. You then forget about all the other like intrepid, ect...

Anyways i can see that my idea would be to much work and mess up the entire gameplay, so scrap that idea

I use alot of the ships for their special weapons.

same here... just for example.. u´ll see a fleet of intrepid and defiant if ur playin against someone like me.. the only time i went over to the big ships, was... um.. as i played against 4 hard ai´s

I still build alot of larger ships, like Warbirds or Soverns or Cubes, it's just they don't have everything skilled players need.

thats what i meant... just for assistance.. hittin of the shields with special weapons, and killing with the firepower
