The feature your referring to is Directors CUT that was in the Original A1, After months of trying to get that back into the game I failed.
Turns out Mad doc decided to strip out the code when they updated all the pathing and formation/Attack patterns, Maybe if FO re-integrate the Attack patterns if they get a chance ?
