It's a derogatory term used in BattleTech novels. One of the factions was the "Federation of Suns", and its enemies usually referred to people belonging to it as "fedrats".

The correct insult for FO Fedfans would be "FedBrats", actually.

I won't argue against that. I like all factions ( but one ), but I confess having a little bias towards the Klingons.

Yes, the series had potential, but ended very badly, same as "Earth: final conflict", where the "WTF?" factor increased with every episode. Teletransporters in a spray? Puh-lease!

I want stronger Rommies and Klingons.
It is hard to play the rommies because they lack a real punch, while the Febrats can easy fall back without getting destroyed.

The Rommie-Ships get killed very fast, same goes for the klingon ones, but thats okay if they had a firepower that makes them usable.
(And please make the Negh'var a dreadnought - I dont care about the costs, but this baby is stronger than a souvereign)
