Okay, the Romulans are officially way too strong! I was just playing as Dominion against normal Romulan. After about 2 or 3 minutes A dozen Norexan Serka and Tavara class warbirds were there on my base and totally crushed me! I hadn't even built the first shipyard yet! I like Fleetops, but seriously, it's difficulty levels must be tweaked. I think that you should have levels like seriously easy, or totally merciless. But it is just way too strong!

I think you may have exagerrated there ;)

In 2-3 minutes on normal the AI has finished construction of it's second Staryard and a 1-2 science facilities as far as I know... it has begun to produce just a few shrikes, rhienns, and leahvals (sometimes not even... as normal is the new easy).

The AI will be getting a redo shortly enough--why not play online in the meantime :)

are you talking about instant action, im crap at the game and i can defeat all 8 factions on merciless, in fact i thought the romulans are weak, the only thing i like about them is that sub space artillery ship.

The Intel centre isn't bad, either. It isn't the most reliable station in game, but it can 1-shot a Borg ship.

Yeah, I guess I will try some online games. However, those AI should be dealt with.

I think the Tavara should be shot up higher in the tech tree.

It ain't at the top! The Tavara should require the Tal Shiar facility for all them spies can be launched.

When someone decides to put up a Cloaking Generator instead, then you can build a Shadow Class Support battleship.

Recommended specs for Shadow class (if put in):

Offensive: 46
Defensive: 53
System: 38
  • Beam Disruptor
  • 2x Experimental Pulse Disruptors (10% chance of disabling a system, Increased damage with ships of a system value higher than 20)
  • Cloaking Device
  • Murata Pulse (Generates a large Murata nebula in an area disabling nearby ships' sensors and cloaking ability)
  • Core Drain (Fires a pulse disrupting the targets main core, non-Borg vessels lose all systems for 45 seconds, Borg vessels lose systems for 20 seconds)
  • Metaphasic Sheilds (Passive: Makes the ship invulnerable to sheild affecting weapons and boosts sheild recharge when not cloaked)
  • Passive Cloaking Feild (Passive: Partially hides the energy signature from enemy sensors decreasing chance of being hit by torpedoes and pulses by 30%)

Helev's Bonuses:
- Defensive and System Value increased by 3
- Gains Binary Core Passive Ability (Increases energy recharge rate by 3%, and reduces chance of system loss)

Mijural's Bonuses:
- Offensive and Defensive Values increased by 2
- Gains Anti-Cloaking Scan special ability (Scans sensor range to detect cloaked vessels, lasts 30 seconds)

Ah yes, that beauty. Looks more dangerous that the stock one...

The specs look good. I'm assuming they are the veteran ones?

Well........... I guess they could be...

Though I was hoping it'd be a worth while alternative of the Tavara for those who'd like Defending more than ramming through turret walls and bases.

But sure... can you make it happen master of conversion?
