Earlier today, I played a game with 2 other people and we were all on the same team against Mercelous AI Borg. I think the Borg are two powerfull once they get up to later game stages. Maybe they should be limited to, I don't know, 10 cubes because nobody can defeat 20.

Borg...merciless AI. It is supposed to be nearly unbeatable.
Wait until they send ships attack an ally base or send ships hunting, then attack the base. After that you can pick off their ships and they can't rebuild.

Were there any ships in the base or had they all left? Because it worked when I tried it.

If you are playing as Romulan, make your fleet heavy on the D'deridex and Serkas, with the warbird serving to absorb fire for a little bit while SWARMS of Serkas pulverise the Borg forces with insane speed. Make certain you don't engage them inside your base, or you'll be blowing up your own base as well.
If you are playing as Fed...I don't know. Mayson's Torp turrets in great quantity seem the best bet.
Klingons actually have the best chance, however. Keep K'vorts near your base at all times, cloaked. They will use their special weapon to thin the ranks of the Scubes without taking a hit. Make sure to decloak them between battles to recharge. Use cloaked Vut'pa and alot of patience to capture their assemblers and...if you feel REALLY froggy, ships or stations. Liberal use of Repair and Recrew is a must. For major combat, you rely very heavily on Negh'var, SuSa/Velaraquh, and Vorcha.
Dominion...well...new ballgame. For puretech, use B-5's and make sure to deploy those fighters into your base EVERY time it's possible. Do not miss one. Get enough fighters and cubes will last about 3 seconds each. Back up the B-5's with S-7 Defenders and C-17 Siege Cruisers with C-11 interceptors to boost the range. As SOON as you repel a wave, hit back, and hit back like a freight train. Those Siege Cruisers will serve you well. For Breen, it's easier. Large numbers of Breen Battleships and Breen Cruisers. Sorry to the Borg.

We played on a huge map and it took forever to travel accross it. I downloaded from the guy who hosted the game, so it wasn't stock FLOPS.
There were 3 cubes, bunch of diamonds, and some speres and assimilators.

Since Cascade feedback deals damage based on the maximum number of abilities a ship can have, shouldnt it deal MASSIVE damage against any borg ship?

So they were still in the base? I attacked when it was empty, no combat ships. Cubes, T.Cubes, Spheres, ect had already left.

I was playing with him on my new map Temporal War, so there are few adjustments needed to do. The map size is 48000*48000 so pretty big.
And for that Action we were only 2 vs 1 AI another player had left the game. So 2 ppl are not enough to beat the merciless AI. But it was quite funny with Temporal Stasis Field from the premunition Ship
.
And as i flew into his base with 2 1/2 Fleets of mixed up sovs and remores he built up there 3 CUBES instantly and killed me. After that he destroyed everything ^^.

Instantly? I haven't seen the AI Borg build instantly before.

Dunno, funnystuff had a cloaked ship at his base and i saw it. 30 secs later there were some diamonds and assimiliators too. Perhaps he had ordered it back to base. But this was an evil fight.

He had a huge fleet engaging us and he had one at his base.
I was at the bottom left. Formalhaunt was at the bottom right and Mercilous was at the top middle.
But what do you think of my limit to 10 cubes idea? (or something else)

They are pretty brutal, a limit wouldn't hurt. Since were talking about Cubes, why don't Tactical Cubes use their proper name?
