Cascade Feedback is a bug mate.

Oh, no.
Just what we needed: another DN clone playing Feds.

Tho again, and this has been brought up, the saber cost, and whatever ship comes after the saber do seem to be a tad expensive ,and idk if any of you have used plasma coil lately, but they really really reduced it, theres reallly no point in norways now....

i dont use norways too(but mostly because i dont like support vessels^^) but i think th sabers are very balanced. they may be pretty slow to build, but with their long rnage, high speed, pretty low cost AND damage reduction they are a really good weapon of choice for every part of the game

Plasma coil is still good, but there is nothing wrong with sabers. At the moment they are too good. Awesome range, speed and decent damage. They are more than worth the cost.

And they are available from the moment you build the "cheap" shipyard. Pesky flies... Or I might say "bees". They sting.

Don't worry, after the patch the Saber will be back to its normal place, and the Monsoon will finally see the light of alien suns

vessels that rely heavy on kiting will have to face foes designed for the purpose of intercepting and destroying them. Therefore the Saber no longer will be a super destroyer if microed right (it never was ment to be. its ment to be a good and cheap fire support and an escort destroyer). The Monsoon will get a bit additional touch, as it will be a good and very robust vessel to destroy other early game long range destroyers, like those nasty Rhienns
that should help deciding between sabers, monsoons and intrepids in the early moments of a game. We will add similar features to all races of course, to give more variety and unit profile. I think i will put up a small newspost once the balancing is close to its final stage to discuss it with the community
