You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

i notice alot of people talking about the strength of the Klingons later on. what ships are they using? it seems like the only ships they have worth making are the battleships which take forever.  granted im fairly new and dont know much about them.

The klingons are strong mainly cause there ships are not as expensive as the romulans. Tend to have more firepower than the feds, and they spam them in large numbers.

Iv seen medium AI with fleets of 20+ Vorch'a, a ship that sits somewere imbetweem the galaxy and the sovvy. The Negh'va is also a powerful ship.

Mainly what makes the klingons so strong is there variety of ships they can build, and that they can build them in large numbers, not to mention that unlike the other races, the klingon fleet doesnt need and akira supporting a steamrunner, as long as you mix their fleet then they support each other well.

one more quick questions. what do the klingons have to use their credits on? the only thing i've noticed that costs credits is a building that costs 4 credits and has a limit of 1 building.

I have only played as the klingons once, im not to good but i got creamed by borg Hard AI.

I think though it is spent mainly on the super weapon...

Doesnt that Klingon 2nd support ship also cost credits? (1 I think)
Im talking about the one that creats an artificial ion storm and can place a torp drone.

yeah, i just noticed there is a ship that uses credits, the one that creates an ion storm. this "super weapon" people talk about, is it that thing that will increase the damage all your ships do? i dont see anything callled "super weapon" seems strange people refer to it as "super weapon".

Yeah its the thing that increases weapon damage. (I think in preV3 it increased rate of fire by 75%, not sure how much it increases the damage output now)
While its not a superweapon (there are no superweapons in FO!), you cant deny its pretty damn powerful ;)

the "super weapon" is a energy ability done by a building. theres a limit of 1 of those buildings, and the building i think costs 5 credits. i couldnt figure out how i could use more of my credits, i guess the ship with ion storm would be the only other place to put the credits.

more options to spent Credits on (especially for the Klingons, but we have some new ideas for all races) will follow in future patches, so it will be even more difficult for you to decide where to put your credits in!  :naugthy:

Oh I just remembered another ship that costs credits for the Klingons, its E'djen! That mixed tech unit u get when allied with the Feds :P

i just played a match against the feds, in a 2vs1 match. me = dominion pure tech, 2nd dominion ai hard, against the feds hard ai. the result was crazy. 1 fed hard ai outnumbered both, me and the other hard ai with a 2:1 ratio of ships, and destroyed both bases.

The fed AI is insane, I agree. It spams like there's no tommorow. The only AI that comes close is the Roms, but only because of the Tavaras.
