Sounds great!  I know I give the Phalanx a hard time, but it really would be nice to use her in battle.

  The Phalanx is the Battleship with the Magnan Phaser array.  You're thinking of the Avalon fighter-carrier, which definitely needs an adjustment.

somehow, i dont see the implementation of temperal warheads as very "starfleet"

They'd use them if they developed them themselves, from scratch. A Chroniton torpedo just uses a state temporal flux to pass through shields... it's tech from the future that Starfleet has a problem with.

why re-invent the wheel, surely 7's tricorder readings of the krenim's torpedo would suffice.  hell, Tuvok lost his eyesight to get that info.

wait,  did that timeline get erased?

what about the time Kes aged backwards and told Janeway all about the Krenim, and there weapons. AND there weapons frequencies.

wait, that DID happen, but was forgotten about in the year of hell.

what about the time Voyager was caught in some kind of temperal flux, and chuckels got to wear a nifty backpack, and showed Janeway the future?


maybe this tempral weapon thing is over-rated.  they seemed to have ample opertunity to make one, but had better things to do.
like build a Delta Flyer, (twice)

THATS what we need, a starfleet shuttle with a borg inspired weapons systems, that is fast and has awesome sensor range
