Captured Tech For Borg (and other races)

Well, but strangely enough assimilated ships keep the stats they had including experience. But the Borg pool all their knowledge, so it doesn´t make much sense that two ships of the same class have different attributes when they get "borged". Experience is not part of a ship but the crew. And why do assimilated ships lose their special weapon ? it´s technology for the most part and that doesn´t dissappear.Thinking logically the two things have to be switched. Assimilated vessels lose all experience benefits but retain their special tech.

Ah hell, why bother assimilating at all, just vaporize those lesser species 

lol, all your points stand apart from one thing... what you said at the end...

i always choose optimise as no race is good enough to be assimilated, they can all die, mwuahahaha!

Use their ships as 'armor' for the Incubation Matrix buildings.  Assimilate them, recrew them, and put them in orbit.  They'll die, but will allow you additional time to ignore the enemy to bring up just the right ship.

Borg technology is so far ahead of anything they can assimilate in this quadrant, the only purpose they could possible have is shock factor. =/.

Exerience upgrades the ships, the vessels keep the rank because they keep the upgrades. If they Assimilate a lv.4/5 Defiant, for example, would they remove the Quantum's?

The 'rank' means nothing, it only shows what they were before Assimilation rather than experience.

Well, it´s called an experience system, and experience is a part of the crew not the ship 

And the defiants should have quantum torpedos all the time, but maybe the crew is so inexperienced at the start, that they mistake them for bath tubes
