You feel like a battlecruiser is too weak or a race too strong? Go ahead and discuss it here :)

but from that aspect, the borg speciality is adaptation and the dominion is vessel spams.

but we have to balance things :)

YEAH ENOUGH WITH THE TONING DOWN OF SUPPORT SHIPS, thats just making feds like other races, and when i tried to make them different thats exactly what i was accused of,

feds dont have any power to back up support ships, the way to do that is to put in miranda 2, and increase values, otherwise supprot ships are fine

*facepalm*

The Norway Avatar is easily the most powerful faction in Fleet Operations currently. A combination of Norways and Canaverals allows your Sabers (yes, your Sabers Ray)... and later your Excelsior II's, Intrepids, Akiras etc to easily make mince meat of your foes.

Indeed RCIX: works wonders.. even for lackluster Risner it gives her some needed staying power.

I think sensor blackout is WAY too powerful.  >:(
Played against someone who took 4 canaverals with his fleet (2 descents, 3 excelsior-II, 2 akiras) and used this special ability.

He easily took out 10 assimilators and just lost 2 canaverals. I concentrated fire on the canaverals, but if he fires sensor blackout on your entire fleet you just can't do NOTHING against it.

Same with other races.  I came with 30 (!!!) Kvorts, he had 5 akiras, 1 descent and two canaverals, he fired, my fleet stopped firing, and so he took out my fleet within a minute.

From what I've seen, I would recommend to lower the time period of sensor blackout from 25 seconds to just 5-10 seconds. Then it would be a very strong special weapon, but not an extremely overpowered one.

Playing as dominon would help. Get a few of their c-11s with the level 3 ability and send them in first to wipe out the canaverals with cascade feedback!

You are bunching up your forces too much then and not taking care of their advantages ;)
K'Vorts shoulda used their Shield Breaking Torpedo to take out theose Canverals looooong ago, and Assims could have just auto-assimed everything from long range. I mean, Descents are sloooooow so you could have at least auto-assimed the Canaverals before they got in range to use their Sensor Blackout.

(I mean... 30 K'Vorts in a small area!?)

Any time I have more than 1 fleet of ships, they move along different paths, and I do my best to have them pincer the targets, never letting them bunch up.  Bunched up makes them vulnerable to AoE, and increases their overall reaction time into dangerous levels.
