Make the combat supply cost less in supply.

And in fact they do get such a boost when using Weapon Fatigue

I think that has to do with the whole Klingon honor thing. Klingons love their BoPs so much because they are viewed as more honorable than large tank ships. Hence, their ships (especially their large ones) have a much smaller crew than others. Don't forget though that in a few of the ST movies (ST 3 and Generations I think) the stated crew for a B'rel was stated as only about a dozen or so, so the number of crew actually went up in the game, most likely to keep these ships from being captured left and right.

Lol, very true, very true. But it takes supply, and generally I'm too poor to spend supply like that.

Well, I actuall meant only in the game, not canon wise
. If you take a look at the DS9 TM you'll see, that Klingon vessels have in fact much higher crew levels than other races due to troops for boarding. That's what I miss in FO, here the Klingons are in fact the race that is easiest to board
. At least one class with 200crew like the Griffin in early/mid game choice would be nice.@JR_109
Try it out, yoU'll see it works. weapon fatigue is extremely useful with a bunch of B'rels and due to the bonus you get when leveling up it even pays out.
@Myles
I don't think the special should cost more when getting better. Look at the damn Rhienn phase plates... They are even better and cost nothing. I admit I really hate these.

@MrXT
I know I'm repeting myself, but I think people should really learn how to use wf. With that the B'rel at least gets very useful in the situations it was designed for and even in larger fleet combat they can survive and pump out some damage.

The B'rel crew may be small, but it's over double the crew level from the show. A small BoP would usually have only 12 people aboard (though sometimes up to 24).

Combat supply doubles the supply regained on rank up. Also the is a big chance that the ship will rank up.
About facing the Assim. Just Ktinga defense rush it. I mean it's not just about crew size, but more about ship numbers. If you have 10 ships against 1 then you can always beam aboard the ships that are getting assimilated. Also the Generex class is a far better ship in my opinion for taking out the Assim avatar because the build time and torpedoes will ensure that you take out that first uplink before it's completion

I call bull**** on that statement. Let us test it, with real Klingon opera.

Actually the BoP has been changed multiple times since it first showed up, part of it was just really poor scaling of the ship against other ships, which is where the K'vort comes from for example. Plus, in DS9 the crew is shown as larger. So actually the devs are just doing it correctly for the timeframe that flops takes place in.

Weapons Fatigue, use it, get speed bonus.
