as its a file name it is definitely not case sensistive. i think he capitalised it to make the spelling difference clear.

Well, I found the files that have the font formatting, but I have no idea what to do with them.

Here are a few screenshots of the files I found.  What do these numbers mean?

I think maybe the number to the left is the character number, the numbers on the right are the actual symbols, and maybe the middle number assigns a special action or something.  maybe 0 means no special action the symbol simply shows up as the labled character number. :sweatdrop:

This is all speculation, and I have no idea if any of it is close to true, but it is worth a try if you are trying to edit it.

Are you talking about the symbols in the tooltips, like the resource symbols and Avatar Bonus and so on? If you are, the texture file all_interface_fontXX.tga might be helpful.

No such file exists.

That's because you are supposed to replace the XX with the numbers mate...  :whistling:

I know the XX is supposed to be replaced by numbers.  No file exists in the Aramda directory.

Since I called it a texture file, you might want to look in the Texture folder where the textures are kept. Along with the other textures, it's titled Textures.

You won't find many textures in other areas.

"Star Trek Armada II/Textures/RGB/all_interfaceXX.tga" does not exist!

The file that came closest is "allrace.tga."  The font textures I did find are named "FontFinalXX_XX.tga."  So how do I modify the sprite file to match what I will put in the font texture?

This is in the Fleet Ops side, the symbols that show up in the tooltips.

I'm talking about modifying the stock tooltips.  Not fleet-ops.

What you claim to be trying is getting stock done similar to FO with special characters requires you actually have special characters. Which I just told you are in a texture file.
