Replaceweapon variability?

Talk about anything related to old versions of Armada.

Quick question about the replaceweapon command - can the AI use it, and if so, if multiple Ys are allotted:

Code: Select all
replacement0Class0 = "fbattle.odf"
replacement0Class1 = "rfrigate.odf"
replacement0Class2 = "cconst.odf"

Will the ship created be truly random?

It depends on what you mean on Truly random.  IMO a computer can't come up with anything random yet.  They just arn't that complex. All it is as an algorithm, so it should be as close to random as it caan get.

Of course (same reason my iPod develops crushes on certain songs and always tries to get me to listen to them when I put it on shuffle  :lol:) but that should be good enough for me  ^-^

Thanks!

There should be an equal chance of each one coming up, as far as we know. In FlOps you can assign "weights" to make one more probable or not, but in PP it's simple 50/50. Or 50/50/50, 50/50/50/50, whatever =P

;) Are you sure about those probabilities  :P

Yes. I never said they were in %, so it can make sense, as they don't need to add up to 100 :lol:
