Help with Importing Ships

I should like to use Adm. Zaxxon's Miranda Class but unfortunately the Filefront page is failure
. Hey, Admiral have you any idea to upload this file in another way. Maybe here on fleetops.net? I don't know if it's possible...

well, I could, but the textures are about 1 mb each, so it would take up several posts. Unless it is a big problem, I would suggest checking back in a bit, and see if it works. D'ls are on and off all day long at File front, and I'm sorry if it causes inconvenience, cus I have no control over it. But if you really want it, I can split it up, it will just take time.
Oh, I just had an Idea. I think I might be able to add content to the downloads section. I'll check and post back here if it is possible.

Speed: Very fast, I think it is the sabers speed. Like you said, it needs to retreat fast, and It has a high repair rate. Its shields are verry strong, but take a while to recharge. Notice the engines design, It is an experimental ship, so I can give it all kinds of cool features.
Weapons: I was going to make some plus phasers and pulse phasers, to mach the future style, and the Aries bule phaser banks. And blue phasers are soo cool on fed ships. I won't give it cloak, and I was planing to give it multi target phasers for its vet rank. Probably max 2 targets.
Trust me the phasers are really cool. They arn't polaron beams, just experimental. If you know what weapons Fhares's turnstile has, you will know what I mean. I will try to give it those.
If you prefer milti target as a special, you can make it and I'll add it, but I am not planing on doing it my self.
OH, one last thing. If I a want to do all these(or most) I will need help. Does any one have experience writing tooltips that could help me? Its not that I can't do it, it just takes a lot of time, that would be split if I had help.

Thanks. I think I will, make a pack, of Experimental warpin ships, and them some other ships on their own. Any way, I am lazy, and Have decided not to make the blue phasers, cus I like the the way the regular ones look. This means All I have left is the tool tips, which, definitally go faster, if any one wanted to vaulenter.

ok guys i'm having big problems..........i downloaded tylers centaur class and added it and added it to antarres yard to build(both files for the yard) when i start a game i can't build a centaur. then when i build my beloved miranda when its building a pic of a galor comes up but a miranda does come out. then i thought ok a warp in a centaur and when i click to warp in anything my game crashes....HELP

sounds like got the wrong sprite listed for the miranda now.....check the gui_global.spr file to check if the button for the miranda is corect.....I mean wirefram for miranda is corect....as for the warping...check the included odfs for the centaur and check for missing ("") around commands....quoatation marks missing from a command will make the game crash....
Also U have said U added the centaur to the atares yard...did u add it to both versions? cuz there is one for each avatar..also check to see if the build button is invisable....if it is the gui_global.spr file may not have the button listed corectly....also make sure its added to the techtrees...both of them....

lets see. Re download my build button and wireframes. That should fix the Galor issue. For the Centuar, I think you ginht have installed it incorrectally, so I'll try it in my own mod, and see what The problem might have been.

Tip: Game crash usually has to do with a missing weapon. In other words, fed_CentarS.odf or something like that, is missing.

k, Wireframe problem is caused by Tyler's wireframes, and Mine are not compatable. I can make them compatable, but it will require work, and the more ships we make, the more they won't be compatable, So when I finish the Flourish, I will make a seperate wireframe file, so we can keep up, with eachother without overwriting eachother.

Also, Try Copying Fed_centuar.odf, and naming the copy fed_centuarA.odf I'm not sure why, but it might work.

Ok, for the Wirefrarmes. First overwrite the Items in your mod, with the ones I attached. Then Re install the lines for Tylers Wireframes. That should do the trick.
Note: These things I attached include the things for the flourish, so you need this installed if ANY ONE wants to use it when it is done. That is until it is up on FF.

Ok, I am feeling Verry lazy today, so I will Cheat on the tool tips. The stats of the ship are CLASSIFIED. I hate the name Flourish, So it is now called "Experimental Pursuit Vessel". The main, and best use of this ship is an assault ship, Hit and run missions, and quick pursuit of ships.Will Upload ASAP

you seem to post these add-ons randomly, i dont suppose you could centralise them in your original post, please. also that rgb_2 seems broken same for the ff download.
cant wait to play with the miranda, one of my fav's good job been playing with the spacedock and the centaur thus far thanks.

The wireframe for the Centuar should include: A Galor, a Miranda, a Spacedock, a Constitution refit & a Centaur. It should work for both.
Go into the odf to the Centaur's shipnames, go down to USS Wolf 359 & USS Hanson. I might not have put a space betwen the two, though it warps-In perfectly for me.
As far as I know, the A ships are just buildable versions of the Warp-Ins.

As far as I know, the A ships are just buildable versions of the Warp-Ins.

well, They are designed that way, but they would work if they just had a build button, and were added to the tech tree. Place the mickenly yard on the map, and you will know what I mean.
This is what the CentuarA.odf would be for. Wat's funny is that only now I just realized that, and not because you said it. *facepalm*

The textures are too big to post here, so I put it on FF, which is experiencing Download failure. I think I will just make a thread for the miranda like Tyler and his conversions. That should help.
